After graduating from the University of Vienna with a degree in Economics (which sounded useful at the time), I landed a junior role at a Venture Capital firm. Let's just say... it wasn't a match made in heaven. Six months later, I was out and already hunting for my next adventure.

That led me to an innovative consulting firm in sunny Barcelona, where I worked as a Business Developer. I loved the sun, the beach, the vibe — basically everything except the job. No hard feelings, it just wasn't for me either.

So, I quit. Packed my bags and went on a bit of a self-discovery trip. Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore... and somewhere between coconut water and night markets, I got hooked on the rise of AI. It reminded me of when the internet first showed up and flipped everything upside down.

With my super practical Economics degree (yes, that's sarcasm), I decided to refresh my coding skills and get back into it. I started to relearn the basics and building piece by piece. That's how MyPicNow.com was built — fully by me, using everything I could get my hands on and a lot of trial and error. No team, no shortcuts — just me, my laptop, and a stubborn need to figure things out.

Oh, and fun fact: somewhere during this whole journey, I also applied to a Master's program in Barcelona. Didn't get in. At the time it stung, but now? One of the best things that didn't happen to me. If there's one thing I've learned, it's this: you can teach yourself just about anything. A university degree shouldn't stand in your way to live the life you want.
